liv's signage was my least favorite immersion, I just found it boring and it did not interest me at all.
I think next time if I was running that workshop I would just get into making the signs. it was boring because all we did was look at what other artists have done.

Jono's immersion

Jono's immersion was my favorite by far I got to print all my designs and designing it was fun as well. It was also fun looking at what other people created.I'm definitely doing this for my project.

going to Auckland live

Yesterday we went to Auckland live, or the Bruce Mason theatre. Amy's tag list got split into Nicoles and Jess's tag lists we were the group that got to watch the other groups performance, but first the host showed us some of the other things that their companies have done while the other group got ready. All they had to do was act in a two-minute play that the company all ready rote. We watched them do the play, it was kind of funny but they had to do it twice. then we did we only had to do it once but I think that was because we already watched there's. We also did some other workshops on sound and also watched another performance of contemporary dance but I didn't understand it and they weren't as fun as performing.

this immersion is my most favorite yet what we had to do was make a survey, we were supposed to do it on a new play ground but me and Liam j wanted to do it on a skate park so we made a survey and surveyed twenty three people twenty wanted a skate park three didn't want one then i designed it on tinker cad then that was it.  

imersion dance

the dance immersion was my least favorite so far when I heard we were going to dance I thought they were actually going to learn how to dance to hip hop but all we were doing was moving in deferent levels next time we do a dance thing a want to learn actually how to dance.  

Hpps Queenstown ski trip

In term 3 I and Jake were doing a project on bottle rockets and air pressure. Most of our experiments failed for various reasons like the seems on our first rocket burst, the air compressor wasn't powerful enough, the launcher wasn't air tight and some other reasons too.
Our how might we was what contains more energy coke and mentos or water and compressed air? I think our project failed because we didn't get a single launch but I think my hypothesis was correct due to research.

immersion

For the last couple of months, we have been doing immersion on energy. For the first immersion, I was doing chemistry we were experimenting with stain and stain removers we also were experimenting with elephant tooth paste. Today we started to grow bacteria. I swapped a keyboard and put it in the agar which feeds the bacteria. hopefully, it will grow and we will see the bacteria.    

 

Today we did a thing on building your own roller coaster I failed almost five times like this and this. 

 But then I got this sorry you can't see the first part.

We were doing this because the energy of the slopes causes the rollercoaster to go down the hill and that before it goes down the hill its potential energy.

making apple juice caviar/ the spherification proses

spherification. spherification is where you turn something into a sphere. To do this in this instant you need to dissolve sodium alginate and calcium lactate into to separate liquids one of them with the apple juice. and dropping it with a syringe into the other liquid

when you drop it in it cooks and forms a jello membrane and creates a sphere.    

imersion reflection

For my emersion, we are doing energy. On the second session, we did an experiment called elephant toothpaste we used hydrogen peroxide, food coloring, dishwashing liquid, and yeast. we found this small plastic bottle with a wide top. We took it and used it.

we poured the hydrogen peroxide into the bottle and the dishwashing liquid and the food coloring and then the yeast it started to form a foam and it started to shoot out the bottle. Nicole asked us to touch it and it was warm that is because of the chemical reaction producing kinetic energy.      

My project proses

It was the last day of term we had chosen to do our project on designing a new playground we wanted to do this because we thought that the playground was too small now that the school is growing bigger and bigger.

On the first day of term 2 we started to do it, we had to fill out our project proposal.We sat there for ten minutes arguing over who would get the pen to fill it in after ten minutes I went to get the pen, now I think of it that was pretty stupid.we finished the proposal on the last day of term one but true the holidays it got lost.

After we did that we started to assign jobs me and Harrison chose inspiration and Aidan chose the email and Callan chose the survey that was after the argueing for five minutes.That was the time that i wanted to leave the group.

Now we started to do the project me and Harrison started to look at pictures of the best playgrounds in the world. I saw one that was in a victorian slate mine and then we had the idea of having a plane playground because of Hobsonville point's history. Then we started to design it on sketch up it was good but really hard to work with so we decided to do it on paper I drew a plane and then added playground stuff onto it then we were finished.
